JF is a member of the Association of Chattered and Certified Accountants (ACCA–UK) holding a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance from Mzumbe University. He has worked with Ernst & Young and KPMG for about 8 years gaining vast experience in Audit, Accounting and Tax. He has experience in auditing a range of sectors including financial institutions, telecommunications, construction, insurance, trading, manufacturing, hospitality, oil and gas, pension funds, government agencies and non-governmental organizations. JF has performed various tax related services such as tax health checks, tax compliance services and tax planning and advisory services.

SS as a Manager – Tax, Finance and Advisory, leads the corporate finance and tax team of the Firm in addition to her active involvement in Mehta and Associates’ other service lines. Snehal is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) completed her studies from Indian Chartered Accountants of India and holds Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University. She started her career with RSM – India in International Taxation and corporate advisory as Tax Consultant and then moved to leading CA firm in Mumbai, worked as Tax Manager. With over 12 years of experience, SS has advised a number of private equity investors, multinational companies, banking groups, manufacturing and pharmaceutical companies, and other financial services in the public listed companies and private companies in India. Her areas of expertise includes the following: Tax and regulatory advisory and compliance services, tax scrutiny and search cases, valuation of shares, due diligence, corporate advisory, tax litigation before Commissioners and Tribunals, structuring for Mergers and Acquisitions in Corporate Landscape.

Legal Manager

MM is a practicing Advocate of the high court of Tanzania, holding a bachelor degree in Laws from St. Augustine University of Tanzania and the Post graduate diploma in Legal Practice from The Law School of Tanzania. He is the head of company secretarial and legal Compliance department, MM has over ten (10 years of experience. MM has worked with Rex Attorneys and ENS Africa for about 3 years gaining vast knowledge on corporate and business laws, banking, labour laws financing of projects, capital market transactions, mergers and acquisitions, fair competition laws and intellectual property MM is a member of Tanganyika Law Society (“TLS”) .

JK is a member of National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) and holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance in business sector from Mzumbe University. Currently she is pursuing CPA (T) qualification exams in Tanzania.

She has 1 year experience in banking sectors and over 2 years of experience in audit of various sectors including, Trading, Manufacturing, Construction, Logistics, Medical Services and Automobile industry.

EM is a member of the Association of Chattered and Certified Accountants (ACCA–UK) holding a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Asia Pacific University (APU) – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

He has over 5 years’ experience in accounting and tax matters relating to Trading sectors and Non-Governmental Organization. His experience in local tax laws has improved the compliance rates of majority of our clientele.

Tax Senior

EB holds a Bachelor Degree of Science (BSc) in Tax Management from the Institute of Finance Management (IFM) and has over 3 years of experience in Accounting and Tax matters.

He has in-depth knowledge in all tax matters relating to healthcare, insurance, trading, manufacturing and other Non-Governmental organizations. Other areas of expertise include Tax and regulatory advisory, compliance services, structuring transfer pricing and other TRA objections.

Tax Associate

IM is a registered member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors of Tanzania (NBAA) and holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance from Mzumbe University.

He has over 2 years of professional experience in accounting, tax and audit services having handled clients in the sectors of manufacturing, trading, logistics, and construction and shipping line. Prior to joining Mehta & Associates, he worked with a leading Microfinance Institution in Tanzania where he handled different accounting and finance related tasks.

AL is a member of the Association of Chattered and Certified Accountants (ACCA–UK) holding a BSC Hons Degree. She has over 1 year of professional experience in the field of finance, tax, accounts and auditing having handled clients in the various sectors of trading, logistics, real estate, construction, hotel industry and manufacturing.
